This copy has been beautifully rebound by Georgina Busby, who also created a case for the book. The binding is full mottled green grained leather with the outline of a fish inked on both front and rear boards, creating the illusion of a fish swimming under water. Marbled pastedowns and endpapers. There are additional endpapers of heavy brown rag after the first free and before the last free endpapers. The rear one shows the watermark. The box is full green cloth over boards. The interior of the box is lined with the same marbled paper used in the book.
The book is clean and tight, with light soil to the half-title. There is a small chip to the lower right corner of the half-title. The lower right corners of the title page and dedication page are lightly creased. On very close examination it appears that the top half of the spine
