Sidney Lawton Smith was a well-known bookplate designer and engraver based in Boston.
Very Good with no jacket. Bookplate of Mary Katherine Williams on front pastedown, with a penciled place and date beneath it. Boards soiled, aged. Light soil on reverse of half-title and reverse of second free endpaper. Offsetting to pages facing engravings. Tissue guard creased and lightly offset from frontis. Spine lightly sunned.
